Pre-conference visit to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park
An optional day out, organised in conjunction with the Scottish Executive and Local Authorities, to visit sites of community development. The day costs £30, including transport, refreshments and lunch. A separate booking form will be available nearer the time for this event.

An optional day out, organised in conjunction with the Scottish Executive and Local Authorities, to visit Edinburgh and the Scottish Parliament. The day costs £30, including transport, refreshments and lunch. A separate booking form will be available nearer the time for this event.

Welcome Reception (free)
This welcome reception and book launch is open to all delegates arriving on Thursday 21 st June 2007. It will take place in Airthrey Castle, on the University of Stirling campus, from 7pm and will be an opportunity to meet other delegates. A buffet and wine will be provided.

Friday 22nd June 2007, University of Stirling
Campus walk (free)
Take a breather and take a walk across the campus around the loch and into the beautiful woodlands of the old Airthrey Estate. Spectacular views down the River Forth (weather permitting!). Meet your guide in the foyer of the Management Centre at 9am. Good trainers or shoes needed for the climb in the woods. Approximately one hour.

Friday 22nd June 2007, Stirling Castle
Conference Dinner and Ceilidh
The conference dinner will be hosted in the stunning surroundings of Stirling Castle, which is without a doubt the grandest of all the Scottish castles. The three-course dinner will take place in the Great Hall, and will be followed by a ceilidh with music provided by the Blackford Fiddle Group. Transport will be provided from the Management Centre/ Express by Holiday Inn and will return from Stirling Castle at midnight.

Saturday 23rd June 2007, Stirling Management Centre
Dinner/Dance in Stirling Management Centre
A three-course dinner will be served in Stirling Management Centre, with a live band afterwards.

** Social events on Friday and Saturday evening can booked at a cost of £55 per person for Friday and £45 per person for Saturday; partners are welcome. A reduction of £10 is available when booking attendance at both events. **
