Welcome
Welcome to the Centre for Research in Lifelong Learning's (CRLL) web-site. We hope you find it interesting and would welcome any feedback on the design and content.
CRLL engages in a range of research and related activities to inform policy and provision in the field of lifelong learning in the post-compulsory sector in Scotland and beyond. The Centre provides an opportunity for informed debate in key areas through Scottish Forum for Lifelong Learning , seminars and a biennial international conference. We also publish briefing papers related to our research projects and substantial research reports, details of which can be found on the site. Through our research and our international conferences we now have an extensive network of contact across the world, however we are always keen to extend this network, and will welcome your feedback on our work and suggestions related to future directions for our activity.
CRLL is a joint initiative between Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of Stirling. The Centre was the first of its kind in the UK and came into existence on 1 August 1999. It was funded by a Research Development Grant from the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council for the first three years, and now is self-funding.
Please feel free to join our mailing list where we will keep you informed of forthcoming CRLL events and publications.
Please note CRLL have now moved see Contact page for more details.
